Squidink’s 100% mineral oil free inks are designed as a direct replacement for petroleum-based inks for use on porous substrates. As a response to European food safety regulations, Squid Ink formulated inks with zero hazardous air pollutants and no hazardous ingredients. Our MOF inks reduce the risks associated with mineral oil ink contamination in the food packaging industry.

No flushing is needed with Squid Ink – simply replace the ink container and continue printing.

Ink cartridges for TIJ Zenjet and ELF series:

HP cartridges are available in solvent based (quick drying on any material), oil based (only for porous materials such as non-plasticized paper and cardboard, non-veneered wood, etc.).
These cartridges allow you to work with inkjet printer at virtually zero-maintenance due to the ease of cartridge replace and the integrated printhead.
Cartridge life can vary due to the font height. As an example, 1 cartridge using a font height of 3 mm is capable of printing approximately 1,500,000 characters.
Each cartridge allows a maximum height of 12.7 mm. working with a multi-head printer the character height can be increased up to 76 mm.

Usage:

Both cartridges series can be used for both porous (paper, cardboard and untreated wood) as well as non-porous materials (plastics, glass, steel, styrofoam, etc.).
